Restoring Purpose Ministries mission is to help men and women who struggle with addictions, destructive lifestyles or with life in general. Since 2015, RPM has been blessed to help thousands of individuals begin and/or continue their path to freedom. RPM collaborates with a large network of providers to quickly get people the help that they need. We work hard to remove any obstacles that could prevent someone from taking the step towards hep.

Alcohol and Other Drugs General Information
The misuse and abuse of alcohol, illicit drugs, and prescription medications affect the health and well-being of millions of Americans. SAMHSA’s 2023 National Survey on Drug Use and Health reports that approximately 48.5 million people aged 12 or older had a substance use disorder in the past year.
Alcohol Data:
The 2023 National Survey on Drug Use and Health reports that 134.7 million Americans age 12 or older were past month alcohol users, 61.4 million people were binge drinkers in the past month, and 16.4 million were heavy drinkers in the past month (2023 NSDUH)
Approximately 28.9 million people age 12 or older had an alcohol use disorder (2023 NSDUH).
Drug Data:
An estimated 660,000 people had used heroin in the past year, based on 2023 NSDUH data.
An estimated 14.4 million people in 2023 misused prescription psychotherapeutic drugs in which 8.6 million were prescription pain relievers, 4.7 million were prescription tranquilizers or sedatives, and 3.9 million were prescription stimulants (2023 NSDUH).
An estimated 5.7 million people aged 12 or older had an opioid use disorder based on 2023 NSDUH data.
According to the CDC approximately 82,000 deaths in 2022 involved opioid overdose.
